Printed on specially made Zerkall paper, dampened before use, using 16 point Centaur and Arrighi type cast by Peter J Sanderson at Whittington Court. Folio, 14¾" x 10½", pp. [2] [1-6] 7-28 [2 with engravings title page and title of the first engraving respectively], [[50], with 25 engravings on recto of pages and titles on verso] [2] [colophon] [3]. Eight tipped in plates. The second of a series of Fleece Press books on the wood and copper engravings of John Buckland Wright. The others are:'Bathers & Dancers' (1993), 'Surreal Times' (2000), 'Endeavours & Experiments' (2004), and 'To Beauty' (2006). A book in Fine condition housed in a Fine cloth solander box. Six of the 240 copies, lettered A to F were not for sale, bound in full classic vellum and accompanied by a set of prints made on Japanese gampi vellum.
