The newspaper, with stringers across the country and national distribution, lasted until executive editors Lige Clarke and Jack Nichols resigned after issue 105. While the publishers planned to continue, 105 appears to have been the final issue.

Gerald Kersh (1912-1968) was a British, and later also American, author, particularly successful for his short stories. His short-story collection More Than Once Upon a Time (1964) contains fifteen exciting tales, including 'The Spanish Prisoner', 'Fabulous Bargain' and 'The Molosso Overcoats'. This volume is scarce to see.Clay Henry's detective novel The Third Twin (1966) is No. 532 of the American Bloodhound Mystery series, and features Constable Simon Lorrimer solving a murder case on the quiet Bare Island. This volume is scarce to see.Douglas Hurd is a British Conservative Party politician who served in the governments of Margaret Thatcher and John Major from 1979 to 1995, and is also an author of political thrillers, such as Truth Game (1972), which completes this set. This novel combines a coup d'etat, an aircrash, an old love affair and rekindled jealousies. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with one original unclipped dust wrapper and two original price-clipped dust wrappers.
