Chorley, (editor) and Achille Collas, (engraver). London: Published by Charles Tilt at 86 Fleet Street, 1838. Achille Collas (17951859) was a French engineer, inventor, and engraver who developed a method for producing engravings after medallions and other reliefs between 1825 and 1832, and demonstrated it at the Salon of 1833. This engraving is listed as Item 221 in A Descriptive Account of the Portraits, Busts, Published Writings, and Manuscripts, of Sir Walter Scott, Bart., Collected and Exhibited at Edinburgh on Occasion of the Scot Centenary in 1871. Prepared for publication by Sir William Stirling Maxwell, Bart., David Laing, LL.D., James Drummons, R.S.A. Edinburgh: William Paterson, 1874.
