Three sheets of title and introductory text, one blank sheet (violet on the front, black on the back), followed by sheets 10 to 1/2 in various colors, with differently sized omissions (creating a 3D effect when viewed), each with the sheet number and a short explanatory text on the reve…rse. Sheet 1/2 is also the first sheet of a second color series, which continues with sheets 3-12. This is followed by another blank sheet and three sheets of introductory text and the title page, so that the work can be viewed from both the front and the back. Some slight adhesive binding remains between the sheets, but most are loose. Clean, good condition. -- Original-Kartonage. 3 Blatt Titel und einführender Text, 1 leeres Blatt (Vorderseite violett, Rückseite schwarz), gefolgt von den Blättern 10 bis 1/2 in verschiedenen Farben, mit unterschiedlich großen Auslassungen (dadurch entsteht beim Anschauen ein 3-D-Effekt), rückseitig jeweils die Battnummer und kurzer erläuternder Text. Blatt 1/2 ist gleichzeitig das Anfangsblatt einer zweiten Farbserie, die mit den Blättern 3-12 anschließt, es folgen nochmals 1 leeres Blatt sowie 3 Blatt einführender Text und Titelblatt, so dass das Werk sowohl von vorn als auch von hinten angeschaut werden kann. Teils ist noch leichte Klebebindung zwischen den Blättern vorhanden, die meisten sind jedoch lose. Windows begin T-shaped, and as proceed, become smaller, ending in a small square, with a black background. In center is a bevelled effect, and spectrum of colors change from a purple… to a blue to a green to a brown and finally black. The point of the object, and Gerstner's artwork, is precisely the play on color, and the catalogue is a manifestation of his art. 4to. 26 by 21 cm.
