Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good+. Photos by Vera and Norman Parry (illustrator). 1st Edition. This is a privately published stapled booklet of historical photos compiled by the Potton Historical Society. All photos have captions. A couple of light marks on the glossy front cover, pages bright and white with no creases, tears or names. No page numbers, and no date, but circa 1977. A nice slice of local history that in years to come will be long out of print and impossible to find. This one is in great condition! None of my books are ex-library, remainders or bce unless specified.

Soft cover. Zustand: Fair. Signed in blue ink beneath her photo across from the copyright page, "Sincerely, Evelyn Parry" with no personalization. A fair to good copy of this green oversize softcover, with dampstaining at the bottomof the covers, and spineward - no evidence of mold, but some of the green from the covers has seeped onto the bottom of the first and final pages. The binding is intact, but with a few creases, and a wide opening at page 90 where many local notes are written in ink. Notations are also present in the pages areound that split, and to the contents page. Light shelf-wear all around. 244 pp., a detailed listing of who's interred at which cemetery across coastal Lincoln County, Oregon. Signed by Author(s).

Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: No Dust Jacket. Boards (HB) in near fine condition with some some tiny brown spots upper page edges. In researching this collection, Milman Parry set out to test the theories he had evolved on oral epic, theories that were to introduce a new era of Homeric scholarship. In the Balkans, one of the few areas where a living tradition of oral heroic poetry was still to be found, he observed firsthand how unlettered singers composed their poems, and collected more than 1,200 hours of poetic performance from the most experienced bards. Comprising representative texts and translations from the Parry Collection, this series records the South Slavic tradition. 326 pages with glossary.
