Full page color illustrations -- these have been tipped into the book and a few are loosening as the glue ages. All else very clean inside, all colour plates pristine. Minor edge wear to boards and very slight fading to spine. All firm.

Introduction by Dickens's daughter, Kate. Extracts from the works with 30 full-page coloured plates with captioned tissue guards and 4 other illustrations including a frontispiece engraving of Dickens.There is an inscription on the endpaper. The plates are particularly charming and well executed. In nice clean, tight condition with no fraying or splitting and clean pages. The (rare) slipcase is solid and clean. No faults to note.
