The original version of the offprint is in a larger format. At some later date--I do not know when--a smaller format, with white wrappers, was produced. The smaller format is definit…ely NOT the original offprint, but it is also definitely a version originating with Linus Pauling, and not a photocopy produced by an individual for their own use. These two papers were part of a session at the Royal Society, May 1, 1952, entitled "A Discussion on the Structure of Proteins". Linus Pauling was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1954 "for his research into the nature of the chemical bond and its application to the elucidation of the structure of complex substances.".
