Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fine. First Limited to 1,000 Copies. The remarkable big game hunting stories of one of Kenya's most remarkable pioneers. 329 pages. 130 ill. Charles Cottar, a fighter to his fingertips is the kind they don't make any more. He came to Kenya when no fences and no rules were the rule, bringing a "can do" spirit with him. He was a superb shot with anything that fired a bullet. He lost the use of one eye and one leg, but did more hunting with the remaining ones than most men do with two. He was rugged, purposeful and his lifelong big game hunting is revealed in these richly detailed and fascinating stories. This hunting book will create an atmosphere like you've never before experienced. One reviewer said, "it comes like a fresh breeze.not for the fainthearted .all the 130 illustrations are of remarkable quality." and finally a noted reviewer said, "this is one of the most fascinating books ever published." It tells much of what was once on this dark continent. Fine in like dj. Signed by Pat Cottar.…
