A souvenir book from the Midway Plaisance section of the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893, Chicago, Illinois, USA. The Midway was the most popular area of the Exposition as it showcased popular entertainments and reproduced scenes from the so-called primitive and exotic countries of the Middle East. Alas, a challenged copy, but scarce. Please note: some copies include only 8 color lithographs, and lacks the Ferris wheel; this copy with 15, including the Ferris Wheel.…
