Basti pensare alle sue opere per i Magazzini Mele, per Borsalino, La Rinascente, Campari, Martini, Agfa, Pirelli e molti altri. Questo volume si propone di approfondire il rapporto tra la fotografia e la cartellonistica nei lavori del grande maestro ripercorrendo le tappe fondamentali della sua produzione artistica. Si ricostruisce in particolare il suo iter creativo attraverso materiale inedito proveniente da archivi e musei. Partendo dall'analisi della fotografia, di cui Dudovich era un grande appassionato, si affiancano schizzi e bozzetti acquerellati ai manifesti stessi. Non mancano riferimenti al cinema muto e alle dive dell'epoca, dal cui fascino l'artista fu particolarmente attratto, come anche ai rapporti con il suo maestro Leopoldo Metlicovitz, del quale sono proposte una ventina di fotografie inedite.
