Ce r…ecueil n'est pas une simple collection de poèmes ; c'est une exploration audacieuse des territoires inexplorés du langage, une invitation à un festin où les mots se libèrent de leurs entraves conventionnelles pour danser sous la lumière énigmatique de la lune. Le titre 'Banquet lunaire' ouvre le recueil sur une scène onirique, un rassemblement nocturne où le poète convie le lecteur à une expérience transcendantale. Les poèmes qui suivent sont autant de plats servis à ce banquet : des vers libres et des poèmes en prose qui, selon les mots de Zimmer, 'surgissent pour s'accrocher au réel, parfois abrupt comme un sentier de roches sur une crête'.Dagher y déploie une langue à la fois sensuelle et cérébrale, où les images frappantes côtoient les réflexions métaphysiques. Le poète se fait tour à tour promeneur solitaire, convive inattendu, héritier d'un testament énigmatique, et observateur lucide des paradoxes de l'existence.Dans la seconde partie du recueil, 'Cadavre exquis', Dagher transgresse les formes poétiques traditionnelles en intégrant des éléments théâtraux. Ces textes, oscillant entre le dialogue et la performance, explorent les ressorts de la création artistique et la capacité du langage à transcender le réel. Les thèmes de l'identité, de la mémoire, de l'absence et du désir y sont abordés avec une acuité et une originalité déconcertantes. L'¿uvre de Dagher est traversée par une profonde interrogation sur la nature du langage poétique. Le poète se demande : 'Vivrais-je pour écrire / Écrirais-je pour vivre ' Cette quête de sens se traduit par une exploration formelle constante, où le vers se fait 'colonne' (dans tous les sens du terme), le mot devient 'eau', et le poème se mue en 'palimpseste'.Dagher n'hésite pas à jouer avec les limites de la langue, à la tordre, à la malaxer, pour en extraire des significations nouvelles et inattendues. Sa poésie est une invitation à 'regarder non pas à faire', à se laisser surprendre par la 'fraîcheur bruissante' des mots et par les 'halos de lumière' qui se dégagent de leur lecture.
