The textblocks were split and are now repaired with japanese tissue; Vol. I is lacking spine label; there are old repairs with leather at the top and bottom of each binding. Name label to spine for a lawyer "Frank L. Crocker' and penned note on each pastedown that the firm "Godwin & Crocker" purchased the volumes in 1868.~~The bindings are not pretty, but they are secure and holding. Good binding.…
