L'oeuvre est ici principalement celle de Richard Simon lui-même, et contient le supplément sur les sectes juives hérétiques, les Caraïtes et les Samaritains, ainsi que plusieurs autres chapitres sur les divinations et sortilèges. Rappelons que Richard Simon est le père de la critique biblique moderne. Querard Fr. litt.
