Il annonce sonembauche pour la réalisation des sculptures des fontaines de la place de la Concorde, à Paris. "[.]J'ai l'honneur de vous informer que, par arrêté du 16 de ce mois, je vous ai désigné au nombre des artistes chargés de l'exécution des sculptures des fontaines monumentales de la place de la Concorde. Une ampliation de cet arrêté, qui vous sera adressée ultérieurement, vous fera connaître le sujet que vous aurez à traiter [.]." Isidore Hippolyte Nicolas Brion(1799-1863), participa, avec Jean-François-Théodore Gechter, François Lanno et Honoré Jean Aristide Husson, à la réalisation de la Fontaine des Fleuves, installée sur la place de la Concorde, à Paris. Homme politique et administrateur. Préfet de la Seine, il modernise Paris, fait construire des égouts, agrandir les rues et installer l'éclairage au gaz.
