L'accent est mis sur l'analyse technico-économique virtuelle afin d'optimiser la conception de la centrale tout en économisant du temps et de l'argent. SAM intègre des données clés telles que les données météorologiques spécifiques au site, la configuration du champ solaire, les collecteurs, les récepteurs, le cycle d'énergie, le stockage thermique, les coûts du système et les paramètres financiers pour simuler les performances de la centrale. Les résultats simulés sont validés par rapport aux données réelles de l'installation. Le modèle prévoit une production annuelle d'électricité de 97,24 millions de kWh par rapport aux 97,42 millions de kWh de l'installation réelle dans des conditions identiques, ce qui montre un accord étroit avec seulement 0,18 % d'écart.
