In den WarenkorbTwo volumes, both printed in Farsi and German, complete, 8vo (each c. 235 x 160 mm); Farsi titles printed in red and black within red borders, engraved head-pieces opening the text to each volume also printed in red, bookplates to upper pastedowns of each volume, internally clean and crisp condition; contemporary full russet mor…occo spines ruled in compartments within slightly raised bands, covers double-ruled in green, later paper labels pasted to the spines of each volume, spines faded and extremities lightly rubbed, repair to upper edge of front cover of Tarikh-e Khani. These volumes are part of a historical series printed at the Print House of the Imperial Academy in St Petersburg. The two present volumes are: Tarikh-e Khani by 'Ali ibn Shams al-Din bin Haji Hussayn and Tarikh-e Gilan by Abd Al-Fattah Fumani, and both were printed in 1274 AH (1857-58 AD). Both of these works were printed from manuscripts in the library of Nicolai Khanikov (1819-1878), Russian Orientalist and author of a number of publications relating to the middle east (including Mà moire sur la partie mà ridionale de l'Asie centrale (1861) and Mà moire sur l'ethnographie de la Perse (1866)).
