Paperback. Zustand: new. Paperback. Three white poplar clones (MA-104, MA-195 and O.Gherib), differing in their sensitivity to NaCl, were selected following a preliminary study. The young plants of these clones were subjected to three treatments: control, 3 g/l and 6 g/l of NaCl. A reduction-which varied according to the clones and salt concentrations-in height, diameter and total and compartmental biomass was observed in all three clones. At the leaf level, a reduction in leaf area and elongation rate, and an increase in epinasty, were also observed. However, these disturbances were less pronounced in plants of the MA-104 clone, indicating their greater salt tolerance compared with the other two clones. Similarly, the improved water-regulating behaviour of MA-104 resulted in the maintenance of the base, midday and recovery water potentials at relatively low levels, thereby helping to minimise the damage caused by salt. Les jeunes plants de ces clones ont été soumis à trois traitements: témoins, 3 et 6g/l de NaCl. Une baisse, variable selon les clones et les doses de sel, de la croissance en hauteur, en diamètre et en biomasse totale et compartimentale, a été observée chez les trois clones. Au niveau des feuilles, une réduction de la surface et du taux d'élongation foliaires et une augmentation de l'épinastie ont été aussi observées. Cependant, ces perturbations ont été moins accentuées chez les plants du clone MA-104 témoignant de leur meilleure tolérance au sel par comparaison aux deux autres clones. De même, un meilleur comportement hydrique de MA-104 s'est traduit par le maintien du potentiel hydrique de base, de midi et de récupération à des niveaux assez faibles permettant de mieux limiter les dégâts causés par le sel. Mlode sadzonki tych klonow poddano trzem zabiegom: grupa kontrolna, 3 oraz 6 g/l NaCl. U wszystkich trzech klonow zaobserwowano spadek wzrostu wysokosci, srednicy oraz biomasy calkowitej i kompartmentalnej, rozniacy sie w zaleznosci od klonu i dawki soli. W przypadku lisci zaobserwowano rowniez zmniejszenie powierzchni i stopnia wydluzenia lisci oraz wzrost epinastii. Jednak zaburzenia te byly mniej wyrazne u roslin klonu MA-104, co swiadczy o ich lepszej tolerancji na sol w porownaniu z pozostalymi dwoma klonami. Podobnie lepsze zachowanie wodne klonu MA-104 przelozylo sie na utrzymanie potencjalu wodnego podstawowego, poludniowego i regeneracyjnego na dosc niskim poziomie, co pozwolilo lepiej ograniczyc szkody spowodowane przez sol. A seguito di uno studio preliminare, sono stati selezionati tre cloni di pioppo bianco (MA-104, MA-195 e O.Gherib), che differiscono per la loro sensibilita al NaCl. Le piantine di questi cloni sono state sottoposte a tre trattamenti: controllo, 3 e 6 g/l di NaCl. In tutti e tre i cloni e stata osservata una riduzione, variabile a seconda dei cloni e delle dosi di sale, della crescita in altezza, in diametro e della biomassa totale e compartimentale. A livello fogliare, sono state osservate anche una riduzione della superficie e del tasso di allungamento fogliare e un aumento dell'epinastia. Tuttavia, questi disturbi sono risultati meno accentuati nelle piantine del clone MA-104, a testimonianza della loro maggiore tolleranza al sale rispetto agli altri due cloni. Allo stesso modo, un miglior comportamento idrico del clone MA-104 si e tradotto nel mantenimento del potenziale idrico di base, di mezzogiorno e di recupero a livelli piuttosto bassi, consentendo di limitare meglio i danni causati dal sale. As plantulas destes clones foram submetidas a tres tratamentos: testemunho, 3 e 6 g/l de NaCl. Observou-se, nos tres clones, uma diminuicao - variavel consoante os clones e as doses de sal - do crescimento em altura, diametro e biomassa total e compartimental. No que diz respeito as folhas, observou-se igualmente uma reducao da superficie e da taxa de alongamento foliar, bem como um aumento da espinastia. No entanto, estas perturbacoes foram menos acentuadas nas plantas do clone MA-104, o que demonstra a sua melhor tolerancia ao sal em comparacao com os outros dois clones. Da mesma forma, um melhor comportamento hidrico do MA-104 traduziu-se na manutencao do potencial hidrico de base, do meio-dia e de recuperacao a niveis bastante baixos, permitindo limitar melhor os danos causados pelo sal.
