Softcover. Zustand: vg. This book is inscribed by the author's son, Dr. Matthew Drosdoff in pencil at (dedication) page following title page [where the author dedicated the book to, among others, Matthew]: "With Compliments. Matthew Drosdoff." 12mo. 236pp, followed by errata slip. Wrappers. Frontispiece. Stamp on half-title, in Hebrew and English: "Not for Sale". Work on Hebrew essayist and one of the greatest pre-state Zionist thinkers (Cultural Zionism) Asher Hirsch Ginsberg (1856 - 1927), primarily known by his Hebrew name and pen name, Ahad Ha'am, sometimes spelled Achad Ha-Am. Written by Nachman Drosdoff, whose main work it appears to be. As he writes in the preface, his "writing is based on material gathered from Ahad Ha'am's most important essays and especially from his huge correspondence comprising approximately 1600 letters and contained six volumes." Minor age wear. Very good condition.
