In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Good. 1st Edition. Staying with the books about India, I am pleased to be able to offer something a bit scarce (only one copy found online), namely: "India Today- The Background of Indian Nationalism" by W.E. Quoting from the flap of the dust jacket: "A study of Indian politics by a group of Canadians is of uncommon value at this time. This book also has a book plate on the front endpaper noting that it was donated to the International Relations Club (not sure where that is?) by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, "to encourage the study of international relations." Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some edge wear including some small tears, chips and wrinkles but is still whole and doing its job. The hard covers are clean and bright, without bumping and the titles on the spine are still readily legible. Inside, there is a bookplate about the aforementioned donation but that is the only mark I found in the book. There is a small smudge of soiling on the Foreword page and the one opposite it. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. …
