Aufgenommen bzw. neu aufgelegt (teils in gekürzten Fassungen) wurde Musik aller Genres - Klassik, Unterhaltungsmusik, Jazz etc., teils auch unter Beifügung patriotischer Ansprachen von Präsident Roosevelt u.a. hochrangiger Politiker und Militärs. Es waren fast alle berühmten amerikanischen Musiker der Zeit vertreten, darunter klassische Musik mit Arturo Toscanini, Arthur Rubinstein, Nathan Milstein oder Jascha Heifetz etc. oder Unterhaltungsmusik und Jazz mit Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Bluesmusiker wie Big Bill Broonzy, Josh White u.v.a. mehr.
