Edited by Flora Macleod from "Materials for the History of Chirbury that were originally gathered by the late Mr. William Phillips", here reprinted from the Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, this is one of only Twenty Five separate copies printe…d of this history of the Shropshire village of Chirbury, situated close to the Welsh border, being only three miles from Montgomery, the book is bound in recent half leather binding titled in gilt to the spine, with raised bands, the binding is in excellent condition, internally illustrated with a map and a small number of photographs, browning to endpapers else contents in good condition, 150 pages. ONE OF ONLY TWENTY FIVE COPIES PRINTED.
