In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Good. THERE ARE NO TARIFFS OR CUSTOMS DUTIES ON BOOKS. Good condition. First edition, a complete three volume set printed by William Blackwood & Sons for the Scottish Text Society, printed out of order - Vol 1 in 1914, Vol 2 in 1906 and Vol 3 in 1908. The text includes Fables, Cresseid, Orpheus & Eurydice and numerous shorter poems, as well as a brief biography and notes. The hardback covers are bound in dark green cloth with the spines wrapped in burgundy leather with gilt lettering. There is some creasing to the cover corners and some rubbing and creasing to the tops and bottoms of the spines, particularly to Vol 1. The text block edges are gilted on the top edges. The text includes a number of fold out plates showing original printed pages from The British Library. A previous owner has made margin notes on a number of pages but this does not intrude upon the text. The bindings are secure and there are otherwise no significant marks or damage.
