Five portraits were drawn by Fritz Kredel. In the publisher's gray printed dust jackets and marbled paper slipcase, both fine. One of 1500 numbered copies signed by Mardersteig on the limitation page, this being number 85. (Newman & Wiche 382) (LEC 396). Translated from the Italian by Mrs. Jonathan Foster.
