Tight hardcover book in good condition. 8vo. 554pp. plus color illustrated advertisement in the back of the text. Green sateen fabric boards & backstrip with embossed gilt lettering & ornate designs on the front board & backstrip. There is an early rectangular bookseller sticker inside the front board at the bottom right-hand corner. Book is clean & tight. The boards have a little wear & edgewear with bumped corners. The gilt design & lettering is bright & colorful. The backstrip is slightly darker green and has some edgewear on the top & bottom. The gilt design & lettering is bright & colorful. The endpapers have some glue show-through. The leaves have no markings. The outside edge of the pages are tanned and some slightly brittle. Some pages have some chipping due to the brittleness.
