Zustand: Fair. 160 pages. No dust jacket. Blue pictorial cloth. Inscription to front endpaper. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with moderate foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

Hardcover. Zustand: Poor. No Jacket. Ch. Whymper (illustrator). Not Known. 2 b/w plates. + several vignettes. Cloth darkened, worn at corners.; pages rather loose in binding; few marks on some pages. Pictorial cloth binding 3B9.

Cloth. Zustand: Good-. No Jacket. There is a Christmas inscription on the front end page from 1889. The front cover has edge wear is rubbed with some soiling, the spine is scuffed to the head and heel and is slightly darkened with light soiling and the back cover has edge wear, is rubbed and there is a stain that is moderately large on the top right corner and a much smaller stain on the bottom right corner. Other then the inscription the pages are clean. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
