The subtitle indicates that this anthology was created especially for younger readers, however, the selections will appeal to readers of any age as most authors wrote for an adult audience. There there are also biographies of each writer represented here. Original publisher's blue cloth covers with gilt spine and cover lettering. There is a very faint light stain to the top edge of the rear cover and a corner crease to the inside rear paste down (but not to the cover itself).
