On the pastedown inside its front cover is a hand written gift inscription in blue ink, "To John From Aunt Lou + Family Xmas 1956". This book is in good condition, marred by light bumps and wear on its covers' corners and spine ends, some evidence of briefly having water on its front cover (slight discoloration and 'waviness' but no dampstain or odor) plus slight spine lean, and some soiling and light stains around the edges of its page block (not extending into page margins.) Its binding is sound. Covers and pages are otherwise unmarked and unworn. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is mostly whole, in fair but still shelf worthy condition, marred by a corner-clipped front flap, a slightly faded spine, and light stains on its white back (likely mildew residue, but with no accompanying odor.)
