Nelson Rockefeller (1908-1979) served as governor of New York from 1959 to 1973 and as the 41st vice president of the United States from 1974 to 1977 under President Gerald Ford. Rockefeller was the son of John D. Rockefeller, Jr., and the grandson of the founder of Standard Oil, John D. Rockefeller. He passed away on January 26, 1979, at the age of 70. Signed.
