Cloth soiled, some minor dust-soiling to internal contents, but a clean, well-preserved copy, mercifully retaining the publisher's ads at rear. A seemingly quite scarce volume by this Welsh Baptist minister, who wrote and published on a number of subjects. This volume is a kind of euology for King George III, who Evans views quite favorably. There is a brief mention of the late king's experience dealing with the "lamented American Contest," but Evans states that he is loathe to speak for long on political questions. We can trace no copies at auction over the past few decades, and find none in commerce as of this listing. OCLC records perhaps nine physical holdings, mostly at major Commonwealth institutions, under several accession numbers. Just three of these are in the US, including one at Brown University, where Evans earned his LL. D.
