During his 34 years at BYU Evenson was Professor of Physics, Dean of General Education, Dean of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and Associate Academic Vice President. He and his wife, Nancy, live in Provo, and keep in touch with their five children and a growing number of grandchildren spread across the USA. Duane E. Jeffery is Professor of Integrative Biology at Brigham Young University. He has published professionally in various biological journals and in matters of Mormonism and science. He has received numerous teaching awards at BYU including Honors Professor of the Year and the Karl G. Maeser Distinguished Teaching Award.
