It was necessary to make vertical the axis of the sphere of the panorama such as for setting up the theodolite. In the next work at the Sifet 2007 conference in Arezzo, I presented the first successful architectural surveys. The limitation of the technique is the absence of stereoscopy and so far any automation in plotting. Spherical Photogrammetry's benefits include acquisition speed, document completeness, and cost-effectiveness. At the 2015 Taipei CIPA conference, I was honored with a career prize, with the motivation 'For the unbelievable number of documentation surveys carried out in every part of the world.'
