Exhibition featured twenty-three sculptures from 1916 to 1958, and nine gouaches and drawings from 1939 to 1950. Handwriting on inside of both front and back covers. Scarring on back and esp. front cover as if tape had been torn off and removed the paper's laminate. Damage may not be visible in the photo, but the damaged sections are rough to the touch instead of smooth.

Er war mit Erich Heckel und Karl Schmidt-Rottluff und besonders eng mit dem Dichter Hermann Kasack befreundet und war das Vorbild für die Figur des Malers Catell in dessen Roman "Die Stadt hinter dem Strom". Seine zweite Frau, die nach seinem frühen Tod den Musikhistoriker Ferdinand Eckhardt heiratete, lebte seit 1953 als bekannte Musikerin in Winnipeg, Kanada.
