Octavo Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. First Edition, 1st Printing. A lovely copy of the 1st printing of the first edition from the author of Tombolo in its original jacket. Fersen started writing Corridor of Honor when he met a survivor of Vlasov's Army and they subsequently became friends. He listened to the veterans story, night after night, in his boarding room. The author verified the man's facts through archival research and produced this novel. Fersen, a Russian born in Rome, went on to become an American citizen and became an associate professor of Russian. Bound in paper covered boards. Binding is secure. There is some spotting to the spine and light foxing at the top edge. Original department store price sticker affixed to the frond past down. Pages are faintly toned. Decked edges. Jacket is lightly soiled and worn at corners and edges.
