Erstausgabe
First edition. 8vo. 19 pp. Fitzpatrick (1802-1869; Gov. of Alabama, 1841-1845, U.S. Senator, 1848-1849 & 1853-1861) is best remembered for closing all of Alabama's state banks in the extended aftermath of the Panic of 1837. Inscribed at head of title leaf "With the respects of the / author." Not in Ellison or Owen. Apparently not recorded on OCLC. Original printed self-wrappers (soiled, foxing, especially to margins). Still a good untrimmed copy (extended edges with some chipping, rear blank spine area reinforced with paper).
