Previous owner's name in ink on front free endpaper. Half title inscribed to that owner and signed by the editor, J. M. Fladmark, in blue ink, and by Lord Balfour of Burleigh in black. Otherwise unmarked. Jacket repeats the board design and shows a few small nicks and light creasing along edges with mild shelf wear overall. Now in an archival quality (removable) Brodart cover. Twenty-eight papers from the Robert Gordon University Heritage Convention, held in Aberdeen in 1993, the first gathering of its kind in the city and the volume that launched the university's Heritage series.
