First protected as a park in 1864, Yosemite is known the world over for its Big Trees, waterfalls, rock faces, and wilderness areas. Richly illustrated with many stunning period black-and-white photographs highlighting notable Alberta natural wonders including Mount Eisenhower, Mount Lefroy, Athabaska Glacier, Moraine Lake, Mount Wilson, Lac Beauvert, Dame Glacier, The Ramparts, Skoki, Miette Hot Springs, and much else. Includes many facts, figures, many suggestions for various activities including skiing, camping, hiking, and other leisure activities such as hot springs, fishing, etc. Most uncommon in commerce, equally so amongst institutional holdings. Nominally corresponds to OCLC #913346396 which bears a similar pagination, however, differs with regards to publisher information. Not found in Peel, BAC/LAC, etc.
