With a vintage black and white photo, apparently of Franklin and Abernethy, neatly t…aped in below the inscription. Quite nice. The Franklin's bookplate on front pastedown. Illustrated with bw photographs throughout. There are two places in the book where the previous owner has left news clippings - one about a horse thief and another about the Big Thicket itself - and those newspapers have caused a burn on the facing pages. Marks on pp. 6-9, 26-28, 171-177. The wrapper has some chips at the edges, remains attractive. Inscribed by Author(s).
