A little light foxing in places, text slightly browned but contents clean and tight. VG copy of a scarce edition of Franklins works.

This is a small book, about 3" X 5" with brown marbled boards and a leather spine, gold lettering. Edges are rubbed and rounded. The first sentence begins with "My Dear Son, I have amused myself with collecting some little anecdotes of my family." Page 187 has a small edge tear with a few words missing on 8 lines of text (the print is very small but readable). B & W frontispiece.

The corners bumped resulting in minor losses, the boards a little rubbed. The hinges delicate, with some straining to the binding on occasion. An early British edition of Franklin's works.
