Owner's name on verso of frontispiece, some foxing. Fold-out map at rear is missing its upper left section. All plates present. A handsome book. Pictures available on request.

Zustand: Good. xvi, 303pp, 9 plates and a folding map at rear, a little spotting and one thumb smudge to pages, one plate (Bolton Abbey opposite p172) loose, blue/black endpapers, top edge gilt, original glazed red cloth with bevelled edges, gilt lettering and gilt and black decoration to spine and upper board, spine tanned with some damaged to top edge and a crease/crack in the cloth, binding feels a little loose.
