It was first published in the US in hard covers by Avalon in 1965. Small hole in the front cover also affecting the pages through to page 11 but otherwise the covers have only light edge wear and there is slight discolouration to the rear cover. The pages are browned with light edge chipping but are otherwise unmarked. Cover illustration by De Soto. The main story is illustrated by Finlay and the short story by Bok.
