Also known as "General Jones," she was famous for leading lengthy marches in support of the Suffrage movement. In Feb. 13, she led 200 women from New York City over a 175-mile trek to Albany, NY, in 17 days. Jones [1883-1978] was born in Cold Spring Harbor, NY and she is also buried there. Very Good (covers nice, contents clean & tight). An uncommon signature, the only other signature I have found was on a postcard, along with the signature Elizabeth Freeman, that recently sold at a York, Pa auction for $253. The purchaser then apparently relisted it on Ebay at almost $350. Our copy: $100.00.
