Printed for The Parents' Institute, Inc as a title in the 'Teen-age Mystery Classics' series, no date (only orig copyright), probably late 50's or early 60's, bound in dark blue cloth with red magnifying glass on front cover with 'Teen-age Mystery Classics' inside, red panel with title in dark blue on spine. One of a series of books published in a uniform binding. 284 pp Very good condition, lacking the dj.

Hardcover. Zustand: Good. The cover has gray cloth with a blue title black and decorative lines. 24 chapters; color frontispiece; browntone, landscape illustration on the endpapers. The bottom edge of the spine strip is missing. The top edge is softened and rubbed. The binder's glue has darkened part of each pastedown. The front pastedown has a linear 1 in. water stain and has an owner's name. The top end of the text block is gray. The other two ends have darkened. Scans e-mailed upon request.
