La crisis ambiental global y el crecimiento y despliegue vertiginoso de nuevas tecnologías de la vida y de la información, hacen de Parque Jurásico (Crichton, 1990) un cuento moral acerca del presente que apunta las imperfecciones esenciales de los simulacros biotecnológicos hoy verosímiles. Al tomar conciencia de que nuestra civilización está en tránsito a una nueva era, los enfoques científicos heredados resultan inapropiados. Por primera en España se presenta de manera extensa la caracterización de una ciencia posnormal y de sus novedosos aspectos metodológicos, centrados en la calidad de la información y en las estrategias de resolución de problemas.
