Il a dirigé le service des vénériens à l'hôpital de la Charité à Paris. Il est aussi connu pour ses travaux sur la réanimation et ses écrits sur la putréfaction et la suppuration, les morts apparentes. Coiffe de tête manquante, mors du 2e plat fendu sur 6 cm env. au niveau de la coiffe de queue, coins et bords des plats frottés. Rel. solide. Hormis quelques rares piqûres sur les toutes premières pages, intérieur propre et très frais. Un bon exemplaire. Poids livre : 412 g, ép. 25 mm. Livre.
