Navy cloth boards discolored extremities, pictorial pastedown rubbed with some abrasion front panel. Internally sound, inscription front endpaper else no other markings or tearing. Short poems and descriptions of flowers embedded within two-tone illustrations. ; MCF04220; 4to 11" - 13" tall.

Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Navy cloth hardcover with pastedown at front board. Rubbing to boards, cloth broken at edges. Rubbing to pastedown. Pages illustrated in red, green, purple and yellow ink. Previous owner has written page numbers in green pencil, streak of pencil across one page. Some discoloration to pages, as well. A nice copy, overall, despite wear and markings.

Decorative Cloth. Zustand: Very Good. Gerta Ries (illustrator). First Ed. 74 pages, some of the pages have been badly cut at the very end of the book. Cute illustrations.

DJ is present, but is in two pieces and tucked into book. Title and copyright page dated 1927, stated first edition. 74 pages. Good condition. Binding intact. Pages toned but clean. Only pencil writing from a former bookseller (not me!) on front free end page. Had deckled page edges. Illustrations throughout. SIGNED by author on front free end page. He wrote: "To the Bleyer Kids, Robin Christopher June 1925" (the date's a little puzzling, but that's what it says.) Robin Christopher was the pen name of writer A.B. Shiffrin. Signed by Author(s).

Die Angaben bei Liebert 32 sind falsch, ebenso bei Klinkow/Scheffer. Fachmännisch restauriertes Exemplar. Alle Gelenke des Leporellos mit Papierstreifen stabilisiert. Insgesamt gut erhalten, die Einsteckfiguren selten so vollständig. Sprache: Deutschu.
