Very little text accompanies the photographs; this article is almost exclusively pictorial. Housed in protective mylar report cover.

Illustrations include a diagram of a seed cleaning machine after Stettegast, a set of sieves for cleaning seeds, two examples of clover seed samplers, Nobbe's germinating apparatus, and the seed germinating apparatus used by the Department. The author was an Assistant in the Division of Botany, U. S. Dept. of Agriculture. Housed in protective mylar report cover with spine sleeve.
