Andrea Cusumano (Palermo, 1973) è un artista, performer e regista italo-britannico. La sua produzione si articola attraverso diversi media e un fecondo sconfinamento tra le discipline artistiche. Elementi che si completano a vicenda formando un'opera d'arte complessa e coerente, in linea di continuità con la tradizione del Gesamtkunstwerk. Allievo e collaboratore di Hermann Nitsch, direttore musicale dell'Orgien Mysterien Theater sin dal 1998, Cusumano, nel corso di un processo sperimentale durato oltre trent'anni, ha sviluppato una ricerca incentrata sulla drammaturgia dello spazio, producendo un personale e originalissimo corpus d'opere che costituisce una lettura contemporanea del concetto di Arte Totale in chiave post-umanista.
