Edition commerc…iale très rare (a fortiori avec envoi) de la thèse novatrice d'Albert Gombault (1844-1904), comportant la première description complète (anatomo-clinique) de la "maladie de Charcot". REFERENCES : Walusinski O: Jean-Martin Charcot, membre de jurys de thèses à la Faculté de médecine de Paris, p.49: "Gombault compose sa thèse en 1877 en opposant à cette forme d'amyotrophie protopathique [décrite par Gombault et Charcot en 1875], une forme deutéropathique, c'est-à-dire ayant une cause autre démontrée (amyotrophie secondaire). Elle prolonge le travail de Chercot et Joffroy de 1869, détaillant la clinique, notamment la spasticité, l'atteinte bulbaire et l'évolution rapide, à partir de neuf observations dont trois personnelles. Pour chacune d'elle, un examen anatomo-pathologique fouillé complète la description clinique. Se trouve ainsi réalisé la première mise au point complète du tableau clinique et anatomopathologique de la 'maladie de Charcot'.
