Dieser bildet neben dem Vereinssport eine wichtige Säule zur sportlichen Entwicklung von Kindern und Jugendlichen und wird somit als wichtiger Übergang zum gesundheitsorientierten, breitensportlichen oder leistungsorientierten Sport angesehen.
