Large 8vo, 368pp. Original cool-grey wrappers, slightly marked, edgeworn and creased toward corners. Page edges slightly yellowed. Numerous b/w maps Syndey's Streets and suburbs as they wereat the middle of the 20th Century by Clive Barrass. A handsome, robust copy in very good to near-fine condition.

Cover is dark green with light green centre on which is a line drawing of buildings in white, title in red; rear cover ad for Globe Tyre Company. No date but c1954. Small crease bottom front corner, occasional light toning and small light brown stain to rear cover, 2 sets of numbers written on rear cover. Quite scarce, especially in this condition. Size: 8vo.

Inset maps of the city of Adelaide and Inter-City Routes between Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide. The verso is a map of the southern portion of the state, with 2 inset maps of the area around Adelaide. Dated from the listed population of Adelaide in a population table on the verso.

Zustand: Very Good. Large 8vo. 9.5 x 6.5 inches. 144 pp. + 116 Sectional Maps + [1] pp. + advertisements. In blue cloth over plain card wrapper in mock leather and plastic outer wrapper, with black title. A little wear to extremities and browning of page edges; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 116 sectional maps in colour, with key on front endpapers. Advertisement on rear endpapers. The 1960 date is suggested by internal evidence on page 142.
